Our Apprenticeship Programme offers young Malawians the opportunity to live, learn, and work at Nature’s Gift Permaculture Centre for 6-months where they gain practical experience in growing food, sustainability, and project management.
The end result is a comprehensive management plan, specifically tailored to the organization they will return to and general knowledge in community based environment, food, and nutrition security.
This year marks the commencement of the Apprentices, and we are pleased to partner with Home of Hope Orphanage and The Seeds of Change. Four future project managers from Home of Hope will work closely with Nature’s Gift Permaculture Centre staff to develop the skills they need to be able to provide all the food and nutrition needs for the orphanage at the completion of the programme.
