Nature’s Gift Permaculture Centre offers a wide range of educational experiences in community based environment, food and nutrition security and related topics. We believe in teaching through demonstration and use all areas of our Centre as a practical classroom.
School Visits
Through tours, hands-on activities, demonstrations and discussion, we show students how the abundance of natural resources in Malawi can be used to strengthen community health, improve quality of life and to establish sustainable livelihoods.
Apprenticeship Programmes
Our Apprenticeship Programme offers young Malawians the opportunity to live, learn, and work at Nature’s Gift Permaculture Centre for 6-months. This experience culminates with a Design Certificate and a specifically tailored management plan.
Courses
We partner with NGOs, Governments, UN-agencies, and Malawian Ministries to develop courses tailored to the specific needs of their employees or the communities they work in. Occasionally, we offer courses open to the public in Permaculture and related subjects.
